Application
Thank you for your interest in the Holy Trinity Centennial Scholarship Trust.
The sole function of the Trust is to provide scholarship aid to persons actively involved in or committed to future participation in the ministry of the Episcopal Church or the Anglican Communion.
Deadline for all application materials, including letters of support, is March 31, 2025.
Award decisions will be announced on Trinity Sunday, June 15, 2025.
Chesirae Valentine
Centennial Scholarship Winner 2020
Chesirae lives in Phoenix, AZ and works as Director of Parish Life at All Saints Episcopal Church in Phoenix. Her previous work includes Dean of Culture at Great Hearts Academies in Glendale, AZ; Chaplain Resident at Ascension Seton Hospitals in Austin, TX; and as a Teacher at various K-12 schools. She's married to James Karlin and they have young children. They’re getting ready to move to NYC for 2 years while Chesirae attends The General Theological Seminary of the Episcopal Church.
Alex Colby
Alex Colby, 21, is a resident of Conroe, TX and a member of Trinity Woodlands Episcopal Church in The Woodlands, TX. He graduated from Loyola University this spring with a B.A. in Christian Theology and is headed to Sewanee School of Theology with an eye towards the priesthood.
He is the descendent of 4 generations of educators and looks forward to residential seminary at Sewanee because “I believe that prayer and worship are fundamental to the greatest understanding of theology….”
