The Parish Choir (grade 9 – adult) sings for the 10:30 a.m. worship
service each Sunday morning. The repertoire is broad and includes a
wide variety of music, ranging from our Anglican heritage to other
styles from varied places and cultures. The choir also sings for special
seasonal worship services and other musical events. There's a wide
range of age and experience in this choir, and we all love to pray,
laugh, and sing with each other. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7:00p in
the Choir Room. All are welcome! Contact Will Buthod, Minister of Music.
to sing but told you can't carry a tune? Are you a vocal star in the
shower, but want to give it a try with others? The informal choir is for
you. Singing for four services each year, this choir makes singing easy
and fun, without the weekly choir commitment. No experience necessary,
just a desire to make a joyful noise! Rehearsals take place immediately
following the 10:30 service, starting two weeks before each appearance.
Look for upcoming announcements or contact Will Buthod, Minister of
Music if you're interested.
Our HTP Children's Choirs offer a spiritual musical journey for our youngest members. The Primary Choir, designed for preschool through first-grade students, and the Junior Choir, tailored for second through fifth graders, meet weekly on Sunday mornings from 8:45 am to 9:15 am in the first-floor music room, just before the formation hour.
Each choir explores a diverse and age-appropriate repertoire, with occasions for them to sing separately and together throughout the year. The Junior Choir has the unique opportunity to collaborate with the adult Parish Choir for anthems during various worship services throughout the academic year.
These dedicated young choristers contribute to our worship experience, participating in our 10:30 am service monthly and during significant occasions such as All Saints Sunday, Lessons & Carols, Christmas Eve, and other special events.
