Non-traditional Foyers opportunities
As Fr. Greg tells us often, everything is always changing in these strange times. Simple meals with fellow parishioners, known as Foyers, have been a part of the fabric of our parish for a long time.In an effort to think creatively about alternative ways to gather, the Parish Life Team offers a few ideas for non-traditional Foyers opportunities below:
- Brown bag meal outdoors
- Restaurant meal for brunch, lunch or dinner
- Meeting at the Kroger outside deck on the Atlanta Beltline
- Taking a walk in a park or at the Decatur Cemetery
- Gathering via Zoom for a simple meal
Holy Trinity Parishioner Alice Murray served as Religion Editor of The Atlanta Constitution from 1975-1979. She wrote a fascinating article about the history of Foyers - click here to read it.
