Outreach at Holy Trinity
Whether sharing meals at Hagar’s House in downtown Decatur, striding in the Hunger Walk in downtown Atlanta, or building a roof in Honduras on a service trip, Holy Trinity parishioners participate in a wide and meaningful array of service.
Our parish supports a broad range of involvement, from community programs such as DEAM (Decatur Emergency Assistance Ministry) and Decatur Cooperative Ministries (including Hagar’s House Shelter for Homeless women and children) to ministries that span international borders such as Honduras Outreach and the Babushka Program. Ministries such as the Trinity House Counseling Center, Hunger Walk, Boy Scout and Cub Scout Troops, Red Cross Blood Drive, Katrina Relief (through DEAM, the Initiative for Affordable Housing and Episcopal Relief and Development), Christmas toy drives, and many others fall under the Outreach umbrella.
We invite you to learn more and become involved in an area that speaks to you. We welcome your participation and ideas.
The outreach committee meets after the 10:30 service on the first Sunday of every month. Everyone is welcome.
