Godly Play (ages 3-5)

Children learn the art of using religious language through parable, sacred story, silence, and liturgical action to help them become more fully aware of God’s presence in their lives. Room 105

Rotation Sunday School (grades K-4)

Children learn about the Bible and other topics through storytelling, music, games, art, computers, and drama. Room 113. Please note that this class begins at 9:00 a.m., rather than at 9:15 a.m.

Acolyte Class (grade 5)

Young people who wish to serve as acolytes begin training in the fifth grade with our Acolyte Class. Participants receive hands-on liturgical instruction every other Sunday. On alternating Sundays they participate in God and Church with the 6th grade youth. Chapel.

God and Church (Grade 6)

This class helps young people grow in their faith by engaging in Bible study, learning about the worship and ministry of the church, and completing outreach projects. Comer Center 260.

Rite-13 (grades 7-8)

The unique God-given gifts of each young person are celebrated as they learn to interact in a community setting, and to recognize each person’s creative potential. In the spring, the “Rite 13″ ceremony marks the beginning of the transition into adulthood. Comer Center 156.

Journey to Adulthood (J2A) (grades 9-10)

Youth learn and practice basic skills of adulthood: active listening, negotiation, assertion, research, and information management, partnership, and leadership. Comer Center 155.

Young Adults in the Church (YAC) (grades 11-12)

Youth in this class prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation and complete lessons and projects from the new “Making it Real and Relevant” curriculum. Comer Center 154.
