Godly Play (ages 3-5)
Children learn the art of using religious language through parable, sacred story, silence, and liturgical action to help them become more fully aware of God’s presence in their lives. Room 105
Rotation Sunday School (grades K-4)
Children learn Bible stories and concepts through music, storytelling, art, games, computers, and drama. Each Rotation topic lasts three to four weeks. The Gathering Room is the setting for opening activities each Sunday, including the opportunity for kids to experience Faith Factory, our children’s music and drama program. Following the music segment, the Rotation lesson is introduced through storytelling. Divided by grades, each class moves to one of the Rotation activity rooms, rotating weekly so that every class experiences the story through each of the four media – art, computer, drama, and games. Enthusiasm and content retention are abundant! Room 113.
Acolyte Class (grade 5)
Young people begin training for the acolyte ministry in fifth grade with the Acolyte Class. The Sunday morning lessons cover liturgy, church history, liturgical art and music, and the Bible. Although participants are not required to become acolytes, we hope they will choose to be a part of this great parish youth tradition.
